General Questions

 

Do you know your business name is spelt wrong? I do! It's a play on words of my daughter's name, Skye.
Can I have freebies? I run competitions frequently on my Facebook page and often randomly gift into people's orders. Unfortunately I can't give out freebies just because I am asked.
Can you donate to a charity event for me?

I donate to charities of my choosing and that mean a lot to me as and when I can. I may also make products where profits are donated to charity. I can't accommodate all charity requests received unfortunately.

 

Shipping & Posting

When will my item be posted? I try not to exceed a 14 - 21 day turnaround. Whilst I appreciate this is a long time to wait, it is just me on my own doing everything. I also don't have a big stock room to store items so have to wait for stock deliveries to arrive with me before proceeding with your order. My turnaround is something I plan to work hard on in 2023.
Are there postal/courier delays? Yes. Royal Mail are striking (which I whole heartedly support) but this is causing delays of around 7 to 10 days. This also means couriers have experienced delays due to more demand. This is beyond my control.
I need my item sooner, can you help? Please message me via my contact form or on Facebook if you need an item for a specific date and I will try to accommodate this for you.
I think my item is lost, can you help? An item is not considered lost until 10 working days have passed with no tracking updates. Once this time has passed I can claim with my carrier. I will politely ask you to wait. If I decide to issue a replacement or a refund before this time, it is at my own discretion.

 

Returns & Damages

 Do you accept returns? I don't accept returns on personalised items, as these have been personalised to suit your needs. If I do so, it is at buyers expense and at my own discretion.
My item arrived damaged, what do I do? Unfortunately, occasionally this does happy. I will need be alerted within 48 hours of you receiving your parcel, and have photos of the damage. If you cannot provide photos or have gone over the timeframe then no refund/replacement will be provided.
Can I have a refund for a damaged item? If your item is part of a set and only one part is damaged, I will send a new part out. I cannot refund on personalised items. However if I decide to make an exception, what you have received must be sent back to me at your own expense before a full refund is issued.

 

Design & Making

I don't like the design I have received, what do I do? You will have received what is exactly in my photos on my website. I cannot change anything once it has been made, and can't accept returns from you deciding you don't like it anymore. I'm sorry.
There's a spelling mistake on my order, can you help? I will copy exactly what you write to me. If I think there is an error myself then I will reach out to you, but ultimately the responsibility is on you. I will work with you to get it resolved but cannot issue a new item for free for your error.
I don't like the font on my order, can it be changed? No. Once an item is made, it cannot be changed. I will use the font that's in my photos and cannot be held responsible for how certain letters may appear. If there are no spelling/grammar errors from my side then unfortunately nothing can be done.

Theo Paphitis #SmallBusinessSunday

My very first small business award came from none other than the actual, real life, Theo Paphitis! You know, from Dragon's Den! Just 5 short weeks after reopening, in early October 2022, I wrote to him on Instagram for the first time. And I was one of the lucky ones who stood out, and was picked by Theo himself to win his #SmallBusinessSunday award! When I tell you I screamed!

My second award came from the amazing LuxLife Magazine. This was a total surprise for me! They emailed me back in June 2023 to tell me I had won! I still have no idea how I was nominated or voted for, but that makes it all the more humbling. Their official announcement came in September 2023.
